Ed’s journey to the Grief Recovery Institute ® began after the devastating loss of his 3 year old son, Eddie Ryan, in 2010. After struggling for years with the conflicting feelings and emotions surrounding his son’s death, Ed found the tools needed to begin his recovery using the Grief Recovery Method ® and this helped him heal his broken heart. Recognizing the value of this work, he became a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist ® dedicating his life to helping others overcome loss and grief in their lives.
His background includes a BA in Social Science, with a minor in Human Development and a Certificate in Human Services Case Management and Administration.
